About the speaker:

Ashley Brooks, Area Director, United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland for Allison Transmission, has worked in the commercial vehicle industry for 20 years. Beginning his career with Iveco Trucks Ltd, responsible for Application engineering across the medium and heavy duty range, he was promoted to the Irisbus UK division and became Technical manager. In 2008, Ashley joined Allison Transmission as UK Application Engineer and in 2016 assumed the role of UK & ROI Account Manager before being promoted to Area Director in 2018. Ashley is also segment manager for the EMEA region at Allison Transmission and his passion to drive new technology at Allison helps the team deliver real results within the served industries.

About the speaker:

An engineering graduate of Queens University Belfast, Bill has developed cross-sector experience in manufacturing companies in Plastics (both Extrusion and Blowmoulding), Hydraulics, Renewable Energy industries, and Offsite Construction.

Now an experienced Industrial Symbiosis Practitioner, he is part of the team responsible for delivering the Resource Matching Service in Northern Ireland as part of Invest NI’s Energy and Resource Efficiency Support Programme. Renowned as the longest-running Industrial Symbiosis programme of its type in the world today, the service focuses on cutting costs and adding value to local businesses through efficient resource management.

About the speaker:

Kevin has over 38-years of experience within the diesel fuel injection industry, working for Delphi Technologies and Isuzu Engines. His responsibilities included technical Support for the European Car, CV and Construction manufacturing plants during the transition from traditional fuel injection to the latest common-rail technology.

Now Sales Director at Thomas Group (one of the UK’s leading fuel injection businesses), his experience and understanding are the foundation from which the fuel additives program finds itself today.

He is passionate about making a difference to the existing vehicle parc/fleet both environmentally and reducing costs while endorsing change.

About the speaker:

Stephen spent over ten years defining and managing fuel management solutions for organisations such as the Royal Mail Group, J Sainsbury Plc, and Fife Council.


Stephen helps his clients monitoring fuel usage. He also works with driver behaviour and route optimisation technology to provide both private and public sector fleet operators with the information necessary to improve their MPG and reduce the impact on the environment.


He is currently responsible for the UK Sales, Account Management and the Managed Service Team at CMS SupaTrak. Stephen also works closely with the CMS Development Team and existing customers to design both new and innovative products, including the soon to be released, next-generation JobTrak Domestic Waste solution.

About the speaker:

Andy Graves joined the RCV manufacturing industry in 1972 and has been part of the engineering team at Dennis Eagle since 1991.


His vast experience in the sector has now positioned him with a unique role, having input into product design, development and production, all the way through to marketing of refuse collection vehicles (RCVs) and specialist HGV chassis.


Andy has been part of many collaborations and ground-breaking projects including:

– Renault D-Access: a joint venture with Renault for the French market

– Penske CV: providing RCVs for Australian and New Zealand markets

– PVI: Electrical vehicle partnership
eCollect – Dennis Eagle’s first all-electric RCV

– Transport for London and LoCITY projects including CLOCS, ULEZ and Direct Vision Standard
