With diesel and petrol prices reaching record highs, OWL Live Midlands on July 7, 2022, at New Hall in Sutton Coldfield will cover every aspect of the hydrogen triangle – the technology, the infrastructure, and sourcing green hydrogen.
OWL Live Midlands promises to be the ultimate event for anyone aiming for a sustainable fleet operation with staff wellbeing and optimal driver behaviour at its heart.
Professor Martin Freer from the University of Birmingham will explain how a Midlands research project is assisting the transition to hydrogen HGVs during his keynote presentation. He will discuss how the H2GVMids project combines all the elements of developing a hydrogen fuel cell 44-tonne HGV.
Hydrogen is featured throughout the programme. Trevor Nicoll from St Helen’s Council will explain why the council opted for a hydrogen RCV, which will be delivered in September.
Arend Mouton, Group Fleet Manager for the Wates Group, will talk about the extensive transformation programme the construction giant’s fleet underwent during the pandemic.
